Red Bus - To Circle Parking Lots and Other Kansas City Terminals

Red buses provides free transportation between terminals and from the Circle Parking.

Location: on the curbs outside every terminal. It takes about 15-20 minutes to go between the two places. All the buses are accessible by wheelchairs.


Blue Bus - To the Economy Parking Lots

Blue buses run from the terminals and the Economy Parking Lots (for free).

Bus 129

Bus 129 is operated by Kansas City Area Transportation Authority that runs about 20 times per day from Kansas airport to different destinations.

Hours: Between 6am and 11pm, Monday through Friday (there is no weekend service).

Location: Terminal C. Rates are under $2.00



There are various shuttle companies that provides service at Kansas City airport to different cities and destinations. For most of them it is necessary to book it in advance.


Metro buses

The Metro operates daily from Kansas City to different destinations.

The ticket fares are about $1.50 and passengers can pay by cash or the Monthly Bus pass.

Taxis and Limos

Taxis wait in the baggage claim area of every terminal. There are some that wait outside each terminal.

Rates are about $2.50 + $2.10 per mile (depending of the traffic jump prices can increase).


Various Limousines companies offers their service at Kansas City airport. It is better to prebook the service before arrive at the airport.
